Postcard From Montana

Just back from a couple weeks seeing the hills and mountains of Montana on horseback. Incredible! Here's the saddle of my horse, Sox and the background of the Southern Montana just outside of Yellowstone.

To get to the dude/guest ranch we stayed at we drove down 17 miles of crazy gravel road (the fastest we could drive was 20 mph), basically an 1 hr & 15 minute drive, but it was worth it.

I'll post a few more photos soon. Weather, food, and wilderness were perfect. If you've never vacationed in Montana, I highly recommend it. I even made a friend who wore a cut-up National Rifle Association t-shirt.

Still catching up on my emails, so if you've written to me in the last 3 weeks, I'll be getting back to you soon.

Happy summer everything.

xo,

  2. Kelli,

Wonderful photo! I once spent three blissful weeks on a dude ranch in California riding a sweet Morgan horse and pretending to herd cattle. The vacation cowboy life -- Divine!

  3. Oh, I envy you! I, too, dream of being a cowgirl, for just a few days.
