No easy pleasures in life of a poet - Campbell McGrath

In 1999, the poet Campbell McGrath won a $280,000 MacArthur ''genius'' grant, which is good, because the last royalty check from his publisher was for $2.10.


Just a reminder that the value of art has never been measured by dollars. (Though I'd make a good argument for that genius grant...)
