Small towns are great in many respects, but yes, the jobs are few and far between.

Jessie-- Congrats on getting paid for your poetry! $10 is $10 more than most poets get! I think my daughter will feel the same way you did about small town life. Right now she loves it, but I know many of the HS seniors about ready to take off to anywhere just to get some space. ;-)

Thanks, January. I was glad this one was a little more on the painless side.Kelli Russell Agodon - Book of Kellshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01798460634708905783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37627577.post-29746957601585033652010-05-05T10:38:58.769-07:002010-05-05T10:38:58.769-07:00Wonderful post. Don't know what that means about bill payment, but everyone's entitled to a slip up every once in a while.Januaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13036651950996873368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37627577.post-8851786014985943772010-05-05T08:22:21.438-07:002010-05-05T08:22:21.438-07:00i really love this post as well. i grew up in a sm...i really love this post as well. i grew up in a small town, and as a kid it got tiring that everyone knew who you were and what you were doing but i can definitely see the appeal more as i get older.

and i never even remember to take my check book with me *sigh* and the other day i had to call my husband from the bank to ask if he had my debit card. why he had it? that is another store in itself. thank goodness the bank was open so i could deposit my huge $10 check for poetry payment :)Jessie Cartyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13181286764480973423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37627577.post-52760026408026817002010-05-05T08:05:21.212-07:002010-05-05T08:05:21.212-07:00Kelli, I love this post. I think April is a month that can push even the sturdiest of Capricorn's over the edge. Thanks for all you do for poetry and poets!Sandy Longhornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04735445958970512617noreply@blogger.com
